Moraine Valley Community College is offering a collection of summer courses for youths to learn, create and explore. Classes include academic skills, STEM and the creative arts for students in elementary, middle and high school.

Academic courses focus on an array of skill sets that will prepare students for their next grade level and potential career paths. Classes are led by enthusiastic teaching faculty who value hands-on instruction, educational activities and having fun while learning.

Students can discover their creativity through a variety of classes, including Graphic Novels and ELA, Board Gaming 101, Dungeons and Dragons and more. The Career Exploration Camp will provide students with hands-on experience in areas such as nursing, fire safety, mechanical technology and computer science.

Students also can work on academics through Math Skills and Geometry or try out Become a Fashion Designer or Learn to Sew. In STEM classes, they can explore LEGO Youth Robotics, Stop-Motion Movie Making, Coding for Minecrafters or Roblox Coding.
